Health Care

There are many controversies facing our world today and some that are specifically important to our well being. A big subject of debate in the United States is that the people are pushing congress to enact a law that will enable a public healthcare option to those who need it. There are plenty of different views and opinions on the matter and it’s a current big conversation starter and was of great importance at the last presidential elections. People around the country including political bystanders have split thoughts on this matter. Everyone believed that with a Democrat in the House would be the start of the change, but Pr. Obama is doing all that congress is allowing him to do and he is not very popular with the senate anymore. A government should provide decent healthcare as they must have reliable education for the people residing in their states and to provide basic human needs for them. The American government provides an excellent public education up to college; once a person chooses a profession they are left to deal with things on their own financially. We spend enough money on taxes and on things to benefit our economy and be able to take a break from having to pay ridiculously large amount of money for simple health care. If someone is out of work they should be entitled to see a doctor and have the cost taken away from them, it’s why government is here.

  1. I agree 100% in which the government needs to provide health care to individuals who can't afford private health insurer's. Were the only country in which only has private insurers and spend the most on health care. We spend the most on health care but don't have superior health numbers. What?! Simply health care isn't free but i think we can establish that are way of running things is not the way to go. We could try taking bits and pieces of other countries health care to make a new universal health care. but perhaps America is to arrogant.

  2. Yeah, I am pretty bummed the way the health care debate went. The bill is making people buy private insurance. But the problem isn't that tons of Americans just don't feel like buying health insurance, they can't afford it! Obama should have started the bid with a single-payer plan and let it get negotiated into a bill that has a large public option. While it does put certain restrictions on health care insurers, it is also guaranteeing these insurers more profit.
